Our Cruise Packing List - Everything in The Large Suitcase

This suitcase will be checked and holds our day of the cruise “go bag” and all of our shoes, clothes, and snorkel gear.

Cruise Morning Go Bag

  • Swim Diapers

  • Sunscreen (in a ziploc bag)

  • Water Shoes for the girls

  • Towel Coverups for all 3 of us

  • Bathing Suits for all 3 of us - going to try to actually wear this under our clothes

  • Bag of Energy Drinks - I get to pack 12! (Lime and Raspberry $32.35 subscription)

  • Travel Docs Organizer ($21.99 on Amazon)

  • Hat

  • Goggles & Masks (Mask 2 Pack: $13.99 on Amazon)

  • All of Elsie’s outfits in one packing cube (incl. undies and any special accessories)

  • All of Lucie’s outfits in one packing cube (incl. undies and any special accessories)

  • Flight Home outfits for all of us in one packing cube

  • Matching Outfits stored together

  • Diapers and Wipes

  • Kids Swim Shampoo and Conditioner ($21.95 Amazon Link)

  • Sandals for me

  • Sandals for the girls

  • Fancy Shoes for the girls

  • Snorkel and Mask - Adult and Kids

  • Gems and Lip Gloss

  • Extra sunscreen chapstick

  • Fancy Dresses for the girls

  • Hair stuff - gel (glitter and plain), detangling spray, comb

  • Mostly empty bottle of sunscreen (so I can throw this away when it is used up)

  • Powerful conditioner for me - not sure what the cruise shampoo and conditioner situation will be.

  • My Hair Stuff that can’t be in carry-on: Heat Protector Spray for before I blow dry and Leave in Smoother for a Curly Hair Day

What is missing from here?

  • Hair stuff and my Makeup - in the carry-on Suitcase!

  • Chargers - in my backpack and carry-on suitcase

  • Sweatshirts for the girls - carry-on suitcase

About the Bag Inside of a Bag…

This is one of my favorite travel hacks with kids - and honestly even for myself: packing a bag inside of a bag! I have something like 3 free checked bags per flier due to being a Delta member. So, on the way home, if I have less space due to dirty clothes, etc., I can always check both suitcases and use the the cruise go bag as my carry-on. I am not packing a larger suitcase inside because I do not plan on buying any souvenirs, but I have done that before - look below for what I mean!

 
 

I honestly usually check a smaller hard-sided suitcase inside of the big one. Like this setup that I used for my solo Europe trip!
